Training Designer

We are seeking a skilled Training Designer to join our team at Raytheon UK. As a Training Designer, you will be responsible for the production of DSAT compliant documentation for multiple MOD sites and the use of a standardised design process.
Main Responsibilities- Conduct Training Design Reviews of all training courses at least every three (3) years and maintain and update the design of training courses to ensure they are up-to-date and satisfy relevant operational/workplace performance requirements.
- Update and revalidate course syllabi and standards, trainer competence, qualification, and experience requirements.
- Conduct the upkeep, update, and revalidation of course information, including course size limits, health and safety, relevant rules and regulations, course length, and required support and resources.
- Conduct and maintain Training Design in response to new training requirements, including those arising from New Capabilities, to ensure training satisfies operational/workplace performance requirements and provides the design output requirements required by the Authority.
- Update Training Design to incorporate relevant recommendations and feedback from internal and external assurance to ensure training remains up-to-date and satisfies operational/workplace performance requirements.
- Identify opportunities to provide accreditation for new and/or amended training as designed, and/or any amendments or implications for existing accreditations following Training Design changes.
- Produce, maintain, and/or update Training Design documentation, including Formal Training Statement (FTS), Assessment Strategy (AStrat), Assessment Specification (ASpec), Learning Scalar and Learning Specification (LSpec), Training Authorisation Document (TrAD), and TMIS (TAFMIS or replacement) course templates.
- 25 days holiday + statutory public holidays, plus opportunity to buy and sell up to 5 days (37hr)
