About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Planning Specialist to join our team in the UK. As a key member of our planning and environmental services team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of energy and infrastructure projects.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the planning and delivery of energy and infrastructure projects, including environmental impact assessments and the preparation of environmental statements.
  • Advising clients throughout the development lifecycle, from project conception to completion.
  • Managing EIA screening and scoping processes, and reviewing technical input for environmental and planning-related reports.
  • Leading environmental teams, overseeing Environmental Impact Assessments, and preparing environmental and planning-related reports.
  • Contributing to single and multi-disciplinary proposals bids, as well as the financial management of project work.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Strong environmental planning experience, preferably with experience working in the energy sector.
  • A broad understanding of environmental issues and disciplines, including consenting regimes and development management procedures.
  • Experience in leading multi-disciplinary teams, with a track record of financial management of projects.
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels, with the ability to manage and mentor those around you.
