About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Planning Specialist to join our team in the UK. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the planning and delivery of energy and infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the planning and delivery of energy and infrastructure projects, including managing EIA screening and scoping processes.
  • Prepare Environmental Statements, including reviewing technical input and other environmental and planning-related reports.
  • Lead environmental teams, overseeing Environmental Impact Assessments and the preparation of environmental and planning-related reports.
  • Contribute to single and multi-disciplinary proposals bids, as well as the financial management of project work.
About You

You will have strong environmental planning experience, preferably with experience working in the energy sector, and be either chartered or working towards chartership. You will have a broad understanding of environmental issues and disciplines, a working knowledge of different consenting regimes and development management procedures.

You will have experience in leading multi-disciplinary teams, a track record of financial management of projects, and excellent communication skills at all levels. Your ability to manage and mentor those around you will be an important asset.
