Job Summary

This role involves assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of maternity care over a 24-hour period.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing total midwifery care for both high and low risk mothers
  • Working autonomously in the acute and primary care setting
  • Prioritizing workload and dealing with challenging behavior and circumstances

The ideal candidate will have advanced clinical skills including suturing, cannulation, maternal and neonatal resuscitation; PPH, shoulder dystocia, eclamptic fits.
