Your Mission

We are seeking a highly skilled Legal Counsel to join our team at Sungrow - EMEA. As a key member of our legal department, you will play a crucial role in shaping our contracting strategy and providing expert legal advice to our sales and operations teams.

Responsibilities
  • Review, draft, and negotiate sales agreements, contracts, and other legal documents to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Provide clear and concise legal guidance to stakeholders on matters related to contracts, claims, disputes, and regulations.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in legislation and manage our legal database to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with management to develop effective defense strategies and provide timely counsel on various legal topics.
  • Work closely with our Compliance Officer to establish and monitor internal governance policies.
  • Communicate and negotiate with external parties, including regulators, external counsel, and public authorities.
  • Conduct research and evaluate risk factors associated with business decisions and operations.
Your Profile

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Legal Counsel with a strong background in the energy sector. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in contract review, negotiation, and management, preferably in the energy sector.

  • Qualified in England.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in the energy sector as a legal counsel or contract manager.
  • Excellent knowledge of corporate law and procedures.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
