Your Mission

We are seeking a highly skilled Legal Counsel to join our team at Sungrow - EMEA. As a key member of our legal department, you will play a crucial role in shaping our company's legal strategy and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Responsibilities
  • Review, draft, and negotiate sales agreements, contracts, and other legal documents to support our sales and contracting strategy.
  • Provide expert legal advice to stakeholders on various matters, including contracts, claims, disputes, and regulations.
  • Maintain current knowledge of legislative changes and manage our legal database to ensure compliance.
  • Collaborate with management to develop efficient defense strategies and provide timely counsel on various legal topics.
  • Work closely with our Compliance Officer to specify internal governance policies and monitor compliance.
  • Communicate and negotiate with external parties, including regulators, external counsel, and public authorities.
  • Research and evaluate risk factors related to business decisions and operations.
Your Profile

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Legal Counsel with a strong background in the energy sector. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in contract review, negotiation, and management, preferably in the energy sector.

  • Qualified in England.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in the energy sector as a legal counsel or contract manager.
  • Excellent knowledge of corporate law and procedures.
  • Strong understanding of the external environment of a corporation.
  • Demonstrated ability to create legal defensive or proactive strategies.
  • High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
  • Sound judgment and ability to analyze situations and information.
  • Outstanding communication skills.
