Platinum Recruitment Consultancy is seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team in the Central North Region.
Job Summary:We are looking for a motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to drive sales growth and revenue within our assigned region. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of negotiating and closing sales, as well as building lasting relationships with trade partners.
Key Responsibilities:- Drive sales volume and revenue within your assigned region.
- Maintain and grow the region by identifying and attracting new trade partners, positively promoting our products, and our values.
- Develop trusting and lasting relationships with new trade partners, becoming their key point of contact for the company.
- Maintain and strengthen existing relationships with current trade partners through excellence of service, understanding their needs and ensuring their satisfaction with products and services.
- Offer tailored marketing and sales advice to current trade partners.
- Upsell products.
- Cross sell products.
- Offer promotional deals.
- Negotiate contracts.
- Identify and secure new business opportunities within the trade supplier sector and develop a pipeline of opportunities.
- Prospecting.
- Cold calling.
- Networking.
- Attending industry events.
- Leveraging online platforms to generate leads.
- Proven track record of negotiating and closing sales.
- Proven ability to quickly build lasting relationships founded on excellence of service and trust.
- A personable and professional communicator, confident using all mediums of communication.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues to boost performance, but equally confident working independently.
- Passionate about the product and company, with an ability to communicate your enthusiasm effectively to others in order to drive sales.
- Highly organised, with excellent time management skills. Proven ability to maintain a methodical approach under pressure.
- An analytical thinker who approaches challenges and tasks strategically, dealing with them proactively and professionally.
