Job Title: Business Development Manager

Platinum Recruitment Consultancy is seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team in the Central North Region.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to drive sales growth and revenue within our assigned region. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of negotiating and closing sales, as well as building lasting relationships with trade partners.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive sales volume and revenue within your assigned region.
  • Maintain and grow the region by identifying and attracting new trade partners, positively promoting our products, and our values.
  • Develop trusting and lasting relationships with new trade partners, becoming their key point of contact for the company.
  • Maintain and strengthen existing relationships with current trade partners through excellence of service, understanding their needs and ensuring their satisfaction with products and services.
  • Offer tailored marketing and sales advice to current trade partners.
  • Upsell products.
  • Cross sell products.
  • Offer promotional deals.
  • Negotiate contracts.
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities within the trade supplier sector and develop a pipeline of opportunities.
  • Prospecting.
  • Cold calling.
  • Networking.
  • Attending industry events.
  • Leveraging online platforms to generate leads.
Requirements:
  • Proven track record of negotiating and closing sales.
  • Proven ability to quickly build lasting relationships founded on excellence of service and trust.
  • A personable and professional communicator, confident using all mediums of communication.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues to boost performance, but equally confident working independently.
  • Passionate about the product and company, with an ability to communicate your enthusiasm effectively to others in order to drive sales.
  • Highly organised, with excellent time management skills. Proven ability to maintain a methodical approach under pressure.
  • An analytical thinker who approaches challenges and tasks strategically, dealing with them proactively and professionally.
