About the Role:

As the Operations Director for a leading European packaging group, you will play a key role in driving operational excellence across two manufacturing sites with a combined turnover of £60m p.a. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for delivering maximum efficiency and optimizing performance across manufacturing, supply chain, and logistics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the operations teams to exceed challenging targets and drive operational excellence
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve manufacturing efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and profitability
  • Provide clear leadership and vision, inspiring and mentoring the operations teams to achieve exceptional results

Requirements:

  • Senior-level operational management experience in a high-volume, progressive, and complex manufacturing environment
  • Proven track record of delivering tangible and impressive results through operational excellence
  • Ability to drive effective change management and inspire teams to engage and contribute
  • Degree-qualified or higher professional qualifications
