- A data-driven systems thinker and keen practitioner of business improvement methodologies, with a track record of process reengineering and continuous improvement. Able to inspire and develop these behaviours in others.
- Conversant with controls systems (PLC, SCADA, etc.) with an understanding of how these simplify and automate processes and manage the quality of outputs.
- Passionate about innovation and environmental sustainability.
- A collaborative, lateral thinker who puts energy into delivering their own ideas and into uncovering / championing the ideas of others.
- Frustrated by inertia, with the drive and energy to overcome it.
- Possessing qualities of a senior operational leader. Empathetic but plain speaking, strong but fair. Capable of (progressively) contributing positively at Board meetings while maintaining high visibility on the shop floor.
- Numerate with good IT skills (PC and production systems).
- Commercially and financially aware
- Currently residing, or prepared to relocate to, within a 1 hour drive of Louth or Skegness.
