Job Title: Legal Compliance Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Legal Compliance Manager to join our team at Law Staff Ltd. As a key member of our compliance team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our firm's compliance with all relevant statutory laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the firm's Lexcel Accreditation Audit and ensure continual monitoring and review of compliance procedures to identify areas for improvement.
  • Work with the Compliance Partner to develop internal policies and procedures, compliance training, and protocols.
  • Keep up-to-date with regulatory developments and industry initiatives, and develop compliance checklists and reports as required.
  • Design, develop, and manage compliance checklists, reports, and monitoring programmes to ensure compliance with best practices.
  • Prepare compliance documents for statutory, legal, and regulatory purposes, and work with management and staff to identify regulatory risks and design internal controls to ensure compliance.
  • Perform routine risk assessments to help the firm understand compliance risk, scope, and significance, and educate employees on compliance regulations and the impact of non-compliance on the firm.
  • Review marketing materials, websites, and presentations to ensure compliance with regulations, and work with management from other departments to ensure compliance and investigate irregularities.
