Legal Compliance Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Legal Compliance Manager to join our team at Law Staff Legal Recruitment. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our firm's compliance with all relevant statutory laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Compliance Oversight: Ensure the firm's compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.
  2. Compliance Monitoring: Continuously monitor and review compliance procedures to identify areas for improvement.
  3. Policy Development: Work with the Compliance Partner to develop internal policies and procedures, compliance training, and protocols.
  4. Regulatory Updates: Stay up-to-date with regulatory developments and industry initiatives.
  5. Compliance Reporting: Develop compliance checklists and reports as required.
  6. Compliance Programmes: Design, develop, and manage compliance checklists, reports, and monitoring programmes.
  7. Best Practices: Ensure compliance with best practices and undertake any other duties as required by the Management Team.
  8. Document Preparation: Prepare compliance documents for statutory, legal, and regulatory purposes.
  9. Risk Assessment: Perform routine risk assessments to help the firm understand compliance risk, scope, and significance.
  10. Employee Education: Educate employees on compliance regulations and the impact of non-compliance on the firm.
  11. Marketing Review: Review marketing materials, websites, and presentations to ensure compliance with regulations.
  12. Collaboration: Work with management and staff to ensure compliance and investigate irregularities.
  13. Compliance Controls: Contribute to robust and effective compliance controls within the firm.
