Job SummaryWe are looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual to lead our support workers in delivering exceptional care services. As an Academic Leader, you will be responsible for line management, ensuring that our team members receive the necessary training and support to excel in their roles.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and develop a team of support workers, providing guidance and feedback to ensure they meet the required standards.
- Oversee the implementation of policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks and legislation.
- Collaborate with other leaders to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, tracking team performance and progress.
- A recognized professional qualification in health and social care or equivalent experience.
- SVQ Level 3 qualification in health and social care or working towards this.
- Prior experience working with individuals with disabilities.
- Demonstrable commitment to ongoing training and professional development.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
