Job Description

A leadership role has become available at Esteem in Dumfries, offering a highly competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • To undertake initial assessments for new service users, ensuring they receive personalized care.
  • To report any relevant issues concerning the care of service users to the care manager.
  • To monitor and maintain work standards within a team of care workers, including specialist teams.
  • To assist with record-keeping and documentation, adhering to Balmoral Health and Social Care policies.
  • Deputize in the absence of the care coordinator and care manager.
  • Provide cover in other areas as required.
  • Participate in an on-call rota to support emergency situations.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, previous experience in a care role, and hold a valid driver's license with access to a vehicle.
