Aerospace Safety Specialist

Our client, a leading player in the aerospace sector, is seeking a skilled Safety Engineer to support the growth of their aerospace portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with the Head of Airworthiness and Safety to maintain and manage the aerospace-compliant Safety Management System (SMS), ensuring adherence to all Product Safety requirements.
- Provide expert advice to Project Teams on Product Safety, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Lead and execute Safety Management activities, including the development and implementation of safety procedures and protocols.
- Represent the Safety department in Customer and Internal Design Reviews, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Develop, review, and approve safety documentation, including safety procedures, protocols, and reports.
- Assist the Head of AW&S in the development and implementation of in-house safety management training programs across the organisation.
- Proven expertise in safety engineering within design contexts, with a strong understanding of aerospace safety regulations and standards.
- Extensive experience in aviation safety, with a focus on safety management and compliance.
