Commercial Procurement Specialist

AWE Plc is seeking an experienced Commercial Procurement Specialist to join its growing team. This role involves assessing costs and managing procurement strategies for complex projects. You will develop and maintain contract cost models, ensure compliance with project briefs, timescales, budget estimates, and relevant contractual requirements. Your expertise will also be required for measuring, validating, recommending, and authorising monthly valuations/payments, as well as capturing and recording cost data.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain contract cost models;
- Manage procurement strategies;
- Measure, validate, recommend, and authorise monthly valuations/payments;
- Capture and record cost data;
Requirements:
- RICS-accredited degree course or non-RICS degree with a postgraduate conversion course;
- Experience in pre-contract measurement, cost planning, and bill production;
- Influencing supplier negotiations;
- Working in a team environment;
- Managing conflicting priorities;
Benefits:
AWE Plc offers a competitive salary range of £36,000 to £52,000 (dependent on suitability, qualifications, and experience). A 9-day working fortnight allows for regular breaks and flexibility in work arrangements.
