About the Role:

The Deputy Head of Department will be responsible for leading and managing a team of laboratory professionals, developing and implementing effective workflows, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety. You will work closely with our laboratory teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and participate in continuous professional development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of laboratory professionals to achieve departmental goals
  • Develop and implement effective workflows to optimize specimen processing and analysis
  • Maintain high standards of quality and safety, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with laboratory teams to improve operational efficiency and reduce errors
  • Participate in continuous professional development, staying up-to-date with industry advancements and best practices
