Health and Safety Specialist

Wellington Professional Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled HSE Officer to join our client's team in Lisburn. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe and clean working environment for all employees.
Key Responsibilities:- Promote a culture of safety and environmental awareness throughout the organization
- Work closely with Field Management to balance environmental, health & safety requirements with production goals
- Perform regular site inspections and investigations to identify and mitigate risks
- Develop and implement safety-related programs and activities to recognize and reward employees
- Provide training and guidance to employees on environmental, health & safety procedures and policies
- Minimum 2 years of progressive Health, Safety and Environmental experience
- Experience working with regulatory agencies and external auditors
- Ability to travel up to 50% between Isle of Man and Scotland
- Working knowledge of company drug and alcohol policy
- Ability to plan and implement process projects in a timely manner
