Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Manager to lead our Children's Home in Bristol. As a Registered Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining exceptionally high standards for the management of the home, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for the young people and staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership, direction, and support to the team to ensure the best outcomes for the young people.
  • Maintain high standards of care and management, ensuring the home environment is secure, safe, and motivating for both staff and young people.
  • Work closely with the clinical team, including psychologists, OTs, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to care.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the home is running efficiently and effectively.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years' experience working in a residential children's home or similar setting.
  • Proven leadership and management skills, with experience of managing teams in a residential setting.
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (England) or equivalent qualification.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with the clinical team and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to care.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with staff, young people, and external partners.
