About the Role

We are seeking a Newly Qualified Occupational Therapist to join our expanding team at Outcomes First Group, a leading provider of special needs education and care. As a key member of our multidisciplinary therapy team, you will work closely with Psychology, Speech and Language Therapy, and other professionals to create an environment where children can thrive.

Job Summary:

This is a permanent, term-time only position (with scope for full-time contract) that offers a £2,000 training allowance for Continued Professional Development. You will be responsible for implementing a holistic, therapeutic approach to supporting children with additional needs, working under the supervision of a senior occupational therapist and developing your skills and expertise over time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete a preceptorship year under the supervision of a senior occupational therapist
  • Develop and implement treatment plans from a range of occupational therapy modalities
  • Assess and screen children as required, with report writing supported by your supervisor initially
  • Provide information and training to staff, commissioners, and other agencies as needed

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a BSc (Hons) in Occupational Therapy and have the ability to communicate effectively with families, carers, Local Authorities, and wider communities. A flexible approach to meeting the changing needs of children and service users is also essential.

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
