Job Title: Senior Children Services Practitioner

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Children Services Practitioner to join our team in Croydon. As a Senior Practitioner, you will play a key role in providing leadership and expertise in the delivery of positive safety and well-being outcomes for children.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership and guidance to staff in the development of practice and expertise.
  • Deliver high-quality direct work with children and families, including assessment, planning, and intervention.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with children, families, and other professionals.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of evidence-based plans and interventions.
  • Support the development of creative and innovative assessments and planning to support children and their families.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Social Worker and up-to-date registration with Social Work England.
  • Foundation level systemic practice qualification desirable.
  • Practice Educator or Practice Teacher qualification desirable.
  • Knowledge of national policy, strategy, and developments regarding children's social care.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, statutory guidance, standards, and procedures.
