National Sales Development Representative

A leading national Tool/Plant/Powered Access maintenance company is seeking a motivated sales professional to join their growing team.
Salary
£25,000 Basic + Commission (OTE £35,000)
About the Role
The Field Sales Representative will be responsible for driving sales of plant and equipment parts by proactively reaching out to potential and existing customers via phone and email. This involves identifying customer needs, matching them with the right equipment, and converting enquiries into orders. Building strong relationships with customers is crucial to maximize repeat business and referrals. The role also requires coordinating with the engineering and transport teams to ensure smooth delivery of equipment to customer sites. Additionally, updating the CRM and other systems to track sales activities, machine availability, and customer interactions is essential.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Previous experience in sales, ideally within the Plant, Powered Access, Tool, or Material Handling industries is required. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional approach to customer interactions are necessary. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools, with an eye for detail in updating records is also required. A goal-driven mindset, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment is essential. A driving licence is needed for this role.
