About the Role
We're seeking a skilled Kitchen Manager to lead our cafe team and deliver exceptional food quality and service. As a key member of our team, you'll oversee daily kitchen operations, manage food stocks, and train colleagues to meet our high standards.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage food stocks, ordering, storage, and preparation in line with food safety and hygiene regulations.
  2. Oversee kitchen routines, processes, and change implementation to drive efficiency and profitability.
  3. Select, train, and develop back-of-house colleagues to deliver timely and tasty food to customers.
  4. Identify opportunities to improve services for customers and colleagues, and implement changes to drive growth and excellence.
  5. Ensure all training, health and safety, and food safety requirements are met.
  6. Understand key drivers of our service plan and deliver to the required standard.
  7. Assume full cafe operation responsibility in the absence of the Cafe Manager.

Requirements
  1. A background in hospitality, with supervisory experience and above.
  2. Strong people management skills, with the ability to lead by example and coach in an inclusive manner.
  3. Experience of working in high-pressure environments and remaining productive.
  4. A commitment to excellent customer service and creating an inclusive work environment.
  5. Good planning and organization skills, with the ability to use initiative to identify opportunities for improvement.
  6. Excellent communication skills to motivate and support a growing team.
