Job Title: Mental Health Support Worker

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Support Worker to join our team at a specialist school in Manchester. As a Mental Health Support Worker, you will provide support to young people and children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs. You will be based inside the classroom, supporting students within education. Class sizes are small to ensure the needs of each pupil are met.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide emotional support and guidance to students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs
* Work closely with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized support plans
* Assist students with daily tasks and activities, promoting independence and self-confidence
* Collaborate with other professionals to ensure a comprehensive support system for students
