About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Area Sales Manager to join our team on a Fixed Term Contract. This is a unique opportunity to cover a maternity leave and work with our dynamic team at Pets Choice Ltd.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and expand our customer base within the pet specialist retail channel, developing and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers.
  • Meet sales and profitability targets, ensuring regular planning and reporting is maintained.
  • Plan and execute effective sales strategies, staying up-to-date with market trends and competitor activity.
  • Educate customers about our range of products and brands, promoting sales and driving business growth.
  • Represent the company at events and industry-specific trade shows, showcasing our products and services.
  • Travel across the UK, requiring a full UK driving license and comfortable with long car journeys.
  • Work a standard Monday to Friday schedule, with occasional weekend work for national trade shows.
Requirements
  • A passion for pets and animals is essential.
  • Proven experience in a similar field sales role, with a strong track record of sales and customer relationship management.
  • Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Positive attitude, with a strong desire to succeed and drive business growth.
  • Brand ambassador, promoting our products and services with enthusiasm and dedication.
