Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team at South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a Phlebotomy Service Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing a high-quality Phlebotomy service to patients within our Outpatients department.
Main Duties
- Draw blood samples from patients in accordance with best practice standards.
- Ensure accurate patient identification and adhere to infection prevention and control protocols.
- Transport samples safely to the laboratory for analysis.
- Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to provide a seamless patient experience.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of Phlebotomy services within the Trust.
