Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

Ripple Education is seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with special educational needs in a primary school setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized support to students with SEN, adapting to their unique needs and abilities.
  • Assist teachers in lesson planning, preparation, and delivery, ensuring a tailored learning experience for students.
  • Develop and implement strategies to promote student engagement, motivation, and academic progress.
  • Collaborate with teachers, other support staff, and parents to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students with SEN.
Requirements:
  • Minimum Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
  • Experience working with students with SEN in a primary school setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, teachers, and parents.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and training to enhance skills and knowledge.
