Job Summary:

FBR Construction Recruitment is seeking a skilled Retrofit Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of a £6 million property refurbishment project in the Chester and Wrexham regions. The ideal candidate will have experience managing retrofit projects, ensuring quality, timeliness, and cost-effectiveness.

About the Role:

We are looking for a seasoned Retrofit Project Manager to oversee the installation of solar paneling, external wall insulation, and decarbonization of properties across 600 locations. Key responsibilities include:

  • Project Management: Ensure site managers possess the necessary experience and ability to manage their allocated projects, with oversight of up to three site/section managers.
  • Daily Contract Running: Manage daily operations to meet quality, time, and cost constraints.
  • Health and Safety: Communicate policies, procedures, safe working practices, and risk assessments to site staff and contractors.
  • Mobilizing Projects: Effectively mobilize allocated projects, understanding and implementing safe systems of work.
  • Programme Management: Understand and manage the programme of works, including setting targets and issuing workforce productivity guidelines.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Ensure the client meets and exceeds customer expectations regarding service, reliability, quality, and responsiveness.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Advanced/Craft Certificate: C&G or NVQ L2/3 qualification.
  • SMSTS Award: Site Management Safety Training Scheme certification.
  • BCTG Supervisor Development Programme: Completion of the Building and Civil Engineering Training Group's supervisor development programme.

What We Offer:

In return for your expertise, we offer a competitive salary of approximately £55,000 per annum, inclusive of a car allowance of around £6,500 per year, or a company car with fuel card, plus a realistic bonus scheme.
