Job Title: Technical Sales Manager

About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading player in the industrial engineering solutions sector as a Technical Sales Manager. The company is known for its robust, stable growth and commitment to employee development. As a Technical Sales Manager, you will play a key role in growing the customer base, developing new business opportunities, and long-term relationships with existing clients. The primary focus will be on selling solution-based equipment and maintenance contracts to new and existing end users, making this warm sales role centred around relationship-building rather than cold outreach.

Key Responsibilities:
• Managing client relationships and interpreting their requirements to offer tailored solutions.
• Negotiating tender and contract T&Cs.
• Supporting marketing activities, including attending trade shows and conducting technical presentations.
• Analysing sales and costs to ensure targets are met, and profitability is maximised.

About You:
Highly self-motivated with strong commercial awareness and engineering knowledge, ready to make a real difference. Ideally, a background in mechanical engineering or fluid dynamics either through (HNC/Degree level) or hands-on experience. Experience in selling into manufacturing environments, such as Cement, Steel, Plastic, Heat Treatment, Data Centres, etc. Strong ability to build relationships, communicate effectively, and collaborate across decision-making teams. High energy, self-motivation, and resilience with a passion for creating happy, delighted customers. Able to manage your time effectively while working from home and enjoy being out on the road 2-3 days a week, with occasional overnight stays.
