About the Role

Active Care Group is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Live-In Support Worker to provide personalized care to our male client residing in Harpenden. This rewarding opportunity offers the chance to make a genuine difference in someone's life while enjoying a flexible work schedule.

Client Profile

Our client leads an active lifestyle and enjoys socializing with friends, going to the gym, and exploring his local area. He requires assistance with daily tasks such as personal care, mobility, and domestic chores. You will be working alongside another carer for our clients morning routines (7am-10am) and evening routines (7pm-9pm).

Your Responsibilities

  • Provide personalized care, including assistance with personal hygiene, dressing, and toileting.
  • Support with mobility needs, ensuring safe and comfortable movement throughout the day.
  • Contribute to a clean and organized home environment by assisting with light domestic tasks.
  • Accompany our client on social outings, providing companionship and support.
  • Maintain clear and open communication with the client's family and other care professionals.

Essential Requirements

  • Previous experience working in a care setting.
  • A full clean UK driving license and willingness to drive our client's vehicle.
  • A kind, compassionate, and patient nature with a genuine desire to make a positive difference in someone's life.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility and reliability are essential as continuity of care is paramount for our clients.
