School Setting and Responsibilities
Zen Educate is a special needs school in Stroud, providing a welcoming and supportive learning environment for students and staff alike. As a part time Special Needs Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with complex needs, including those with severe autism and complex needs.

Your key responsibilities will include supporting students on a 1:1 or group basis, following teacher instructions, and contributing to student records. You will also be expected to maintain a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere, ensuring students are engaged and meeting their learning objectives.

A strong understanding of special needs education and a passion for making a difference in the lives of students are essential qualities for this role. An enhanced DBS on the update service and a commitment to term time only hours (8:30-3:30, Monday to Friday) are required for this position.
