Job Overview
We are currently looking for a part time Special Needs Teaching Assistant to work in a special needs school in Stroud. The ideal candidate will have experience in working with students who have severe autism and complex needs.

The school provides a supportive learning environment for both students and staff, and many people who work there have praised their experience.

As a teaching assistant, you will be responsible for supporting students on either a 1:1 or group basis, following instructions from teachers and other staff members, and catering to the welfare and engagement of students.

You will also need to be able to work well in a team dynamic and be flexible to the needs of the school.

Requirements include having an enhanced DBS on the update service and being able to commit to term time only hours of 8:30-3:30 Monday to Friday.
