About the Role

This is a leadership position within the commercial function at Puig, acting as a role model for the company both internally and externally to drive growth across key Department store retail partnerships.

">

As Head of Department Stores, you will build strong relationships with Retailers, leveraging your knowledge of the brands and accounts to develop the business and drive growth. You will work closely with Marketing, Retail, Education, and VM teams to define and lead strategy in line with the brand image and priorities.

Key Responsibilities

  • ">
  • Define and implement retailers' strategy, including trade marketing and field plans, ensuring adequate activities without clashes between retailers or other Puig brands.

    ">
  • Prepare and review retail and wholesale targets for all designated accounts with Commercial and Finance teams.

    ">
  • Establish and monitor full JBP plans with top customers, and overall budget investments, trading terms and conditions, stock returns, and markdowns to drive the business and ensure profitability per account.

    ">
  • Ensure timeliness and accuracy in all reporting and related administration for each of the accounts.

    ">
  • Work closely with Retail and Education to optimise sell-out strategy for key launches, including in-store activation, events, and animations over KCPs.

    ">
  • Enhance brand positioning at point of sale and leverage individual brand performance for the benefit of all brands in negotiation.

    ">
  • Prepare and utilise business analytics to build robust commercial plans and seize opportunities to increase both Sell-in and Sell-out.

    ">
  • Project manage and coordinate all efforts of cross-functional teams within the clusters, particularly for launches, new brands (if applicable), and NPD.

    ">
  • Assess new opportunities that balance brand visibility and ROI, taking full P&L responsibility for all customers and brands within the channel.

    ">
  • Lead and inspire your team to achieve business objectives and overarching goals, nurturing strengths, encouraging continuous learning, and development.

    ">
  • Partner closely with the Niche team to achieve results and strategic vision for Niche brands in department stores.

  • Deputise for Commercial Director when required.

  • A proven track record working with flagship/department retail sites across Niche and Prestige brands.

  • Experience building and developing partnerships with retailers.

    ">
  • Strong customer service and project management skills, managing large account portfolios.

    ">
  • Team management experience, focusing on performance and long-term career development.

    ">

A competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum is offered, depending on experience.
