Job Summary: Knight Electrical Switchgear Ltd is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manufacturing Team Manager to lead its production team. As an essential member of the management team, you will be responsible for the overall direction and supervision of all manufacturing activities.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing teams in a production or electrical environment, with a proven track record of implementing efficient working practices and improving processes. You will also possess excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team of 20+ staff members.

Key Responsibilities:
• Leadership and supervision of production staff
• Implementation of efficient working practices and process improvements
• Development, monitoring, and motivation of 20+ staff members
• Collaboration with other departments to ensure on-time and on-budget product builds
• Identification and promotion of safe and efficient working practices and improvement initiatives
• Oversight of factory maintenance tasks
• Vehicle fleet management

Requirements:
• Experience of managing a team in a production, electrical, or engineering environment
• Understanding of manufacturing/assembly processes
• Planning, delegation, and time management skills
• Ability and tenacity to pre-empt/overcome problems and find solutions
• Negotiation skills and the ability to influence
• Organised and efficient
• Use of Microsoft Office and similar software
• Experience of working within an ISO 9001 environment
• Electrical/mechanical experience an advantage but not a requirement

Salary: £58,000 - £78,000 per annum, depending on experience.
