Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated dietitian to take on a fixed-term Band service lead role in our adult cystic fibrosis service. As a valued member of our team, you will have the opportunity to develop your leadership skills and expand your clinical expertise in a well-established and supportive multidisciplinary team.
Main Duties
As a dietitian in our adult cystic fibrosis service, you will be responsible for providing a comprehensive dietetic service to adult patients treated within the Oxford University Hospitals NHS Trust. This will involve working as an integral member of the dietetic team and the multidisciplinary team to provide a flexible and prioritized service based on clinical need.
You will lead the adult cystic fibrosis dietetic provision, including agreeing annual leave, cover arrangements, and undertaking appraisals for other adult cystic fibrosis dietitians in conjunction with the acute diabetes team lead.
You will also be an active part of the broader dietetic team and specifically the adult diabetes dietetic team, educating and counseling young people and adults with cystic fibrosis, their parents, family, and carers on the management of cystic fibrosis.
