About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Specialist Occupational Therapist to join our Neurological Rehabilitation Unit at Trafford General Hospital, as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience working in neuro-rehabilitation at Band 6 level and above, with expertise in neurological occupational therapy, including knowledge of the mental capacity act and complex discharge planning.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating and monitoring the activity and caseload demands on the unit
  • Providing evidence-based training and support to junior therapists
  • Contributing to service development and improvements
