A Wilderness Way Ltd is seeking a dedicated Education Assessment Lead to join our team. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a profound impact on the lives of children in our care.
As an Education Assessment Lead, you will work closely with individual children in eight designated homes, helping them build confidence in their learning by identifying their educational strengths, challenges, and unique learning preferences. You will develop tailored strategies and resources to support their academic progress and foster a positive learning environment where they can thrive.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering 1:1 learning sessions, contributing to individual education plans and meetings, creating engaging educational materials, and facilitating hands-on activities/trips to build on each child's interests. You will also collaborate with our residential care teams, Clinical team, and Outdoor practitioners to ensure holistic support and engagement are achieved in each child's placement.
We are looking for someone who is creative, passionate about working with children, and able to inspire them to engage in their learning. The ideal candidate will have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and be able to work across all our services, supporting up to eight homes.
