About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Community Fundraiser to join our team at East Anglia's Children's Hospices (EACH). As a Community Fundraiser, you will play a key role in developing and implementing our community fundraising strategy, working closely with colleagues to embed a culture of fundraising success across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Organise and support fundraising events to engage with local communities and raise money and awareness for our cause.
  • Proactively seek out new fundraising opportunities and develop relationships with existing supporters to grow and maintain income.
  • Work as part of a wider team to contribute ideas and examples of fundraising success, meeting income targets to ensure we can continue to support families across Cambridgeshire and East Anglia.
  • Report on budgets for your area and maintain accurate supporter records on our fundraising database.
  • Deliver talks and presentations to organisations to secure long-term support and stewardship, corresponding with a diverse range of fundraisers and developing an understanding of how our supporters like to be communicated with individually.
  • Manage our group of fundraising volunteers and ensure they have the necessary support and resources to succeed.

East Anglia's Children's Hospices (EACH) is a leading children's hospice charity providing specialist nursing care, symptom management, short breaks, wellbeing activities, therapies, care at end of life, bereavement support, counselling, and volunteer services to children and families across Cambridgeshire, Essex, Norfolk, and Suffolk.

We have a talented workforce of staff and volunteers in Care, Fundraising, Retail, Facilities, IT, Finance, Marketing & Communications, and Human Resources. We employ around 400 employees and have more than 1,800 volunteers across the organisation, including 49 shops and a Retail Distribution Centre.
