The role of a Healthcare Support Worker in our team is crucial in achieving this goal. As a member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a key part in providing nursing and therapy services that offer an alternative to hospital admission. In this role, you will be responsible for promoting the health and wellbeing of patients, enhancing their experience, and empowering them to take control of their care. You will also observe and record patient behavior, reporting any concerns to qualified staff as necessary.

We estimate that the salary for this position will be around £22,000-£25,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication skills, a caring nature, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You should also be willing to learn and adapt to new situations, prioritizing demands and managing your time efficiently.

  • GCE Level C+ in English and Maths or Level 2 functional skills in English and Maths or willingness to work towards this
  • Level 2 in health and social care (or equivalent) or willingness to work towards this
  • Care Certificate or willingness to work towards this
