We are looking for a talented Energy Sector Specialist to join our team in Central Bristol, working on a hybrid schedule.

About the Position

This role involves managing energy suppliers, implementing strategies, reviewing supplier performance, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure success.

The successful candidate will report directly to the Head of Energy & Water Procurement and be responsible for establishing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, suppliers, tenants, and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers, tenants, and colleagues.
  2. Streamline invoicing procedures to minimize debt and optimize cash flow.
  3. Analyze and benchmark energy supplier performance and score procurement.
  4. Foster effective communication between Accounts Payable, Property Managers, clients, and suppliers to deliver SLAs and KPIs.
  5. Oversee Auto Meter Reader (AMR) rollout projects and ensure Half Hour Data (HHD) dataflows are in place.
  6. Support ESG teams with data gathering requirements for sustainability reporting.
  7. Support Change of Tenancy (CoT) requests and liaise with Accounts Payable Teams, TPI Consultants, and Suppliers.
Requirements:
  • Strong knowledge of the energy industry, including metering, energy contracts, COT, MOPs, AMR, HHD, DA/DCs, and account management processes.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills for delivering reports and interpreting figures and calculations.
  • Effective stakeholder and third-party management skills.
  • A proactive nature, taking ownership of projects and driving results.
