About the Job:
As a skilled Senior M&A Deal Maker, you will play a critical role in shaping strategic deals and guiding junior team members at Selby Jennings. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in M&A, a proven track record of leading complex transactions, and the ability to foster client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage M&A transactions from initiation to execution, ensuring a smooth process and successful outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and partners.
  • Conduct comprehensive financial analyses and valuation assessments to support transaction strategies.
  • Mentor and coach junior team members, promoting professional growth and team collaboration.
  • Stay abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory developments to provide informed insights and strategies.
  • Prepare and present compelling pitches and proposals to potential clients.

Requirements:
  • 6+ years of relevant M&A experience, ideally within a boutique or top-tier investment bank.
  • Proven track record of managing successful transactions with significant deal values.
  • Strong analytical skills and financial modelling expertise.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • A proactive, strategic thinker with a strong client-focused mindset.
  • A degree in finance, business, or a related field; an MBA or relevant professional qualification is a plus.
