Job Title: Human Capital Strategist

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Human Capital Strategist to join our team at Alchemy Global Talent Solutions. As a key member of our HR team, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end onboarding process, managing employee inductions, and developing and implementing HR policies that support a fair, equitable, and compliant workplace.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and deliver engaging onboarding experiences that set the tone for employee success and retention.
  • Develop and implement HR policies that promote a positive company culture and support employee well-being.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees and managers on HR matters, resolving issues professionally and effectively.
  • Collaborate with department heads to align HR initiatives with business goals and objectives.
  • Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution and performance management.
  • Drive engagement programs and initiatives that support employee morale and retention.
  • Conduct regular HR audits to ensure policies and practices are compliant with current legislation.
  • Support recruitment efforts, including interviewing, selection, and onboarding of new hires.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience in HR management, ideally within a moving, logistics, or similar industry.
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment laws and regulations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on building positive employee relationships.
  • Demonstrated expertise in onboarding, induction, and employee engagement programs.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle sensitive situations with confidentiality.
  • CIPD qualification or similar HR accreditation is preferred.

Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
