About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Consultant in Emergency General Surgery to join our team at Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our Emergency General Surgery service.
Main Responsibilities
- Work with our specialty leads to establish and maintain high standards of patient care and service delivery.
- Develop and implement innovative solutions to improve patient outcomes and experience.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless day-to-day management of the department.
- Teach and train junior staff and medical students in Emergency General Surgery.
- Engage in ongoing professional development and contribute to the development of our research portfolio.
