Consultant - Emergency General Surgery (EGS) Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Consultant Surgeon to join our Emergency General Surgery (EGS) department at Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality surgical care to patients with emergency general surgery needs.
Key Responsibilities- Provide emergency general surgery services to patients, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
- Conduct surgical procedures, including emergency operations, and provide post-operative care.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care and develop treatment plans.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical guidelines and protocols.
- Engage in teaching and training of junior staff and medical students.
