The Role

We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst within the Finance Change team to help achieve our key strategic objectives, particularly in the implementation of capabilities to support new business growth within the CRIS (Corporate Risk & Investment Solution) business unit.

This role involves working closely with Finance and CRIS Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to develop appropriate business solutions for new and emerging requirements. As a Senior Business Analyst, you will be responsible for helping Business Analysts to perform the right activities and produce the right outputs.

You will need to identify and implement opportunities for optimisation and transformation, analysing and documenting current processes clearly. Experience working with senior accountants, actuaries, and Finance operations teams is essential.

A high-level understanding of M&G Plc's strategy, key products, and distribution methods is advantageous. You should also have knowledge of financial services reporting, regulatory, and legislative frameworks.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • Prioritisation: Help prioritise work creatively when demand exceeds supply.
  • Understanding business processes: Analyse and document current processes, identifying opportunities for optimisation and transformation.
  • Business Analysis skills: Formal business analysis skills are required.
  • Finance Domain knowledge:
    • Experience working with senior accountants, actuaries, and Finance operations teams.
    • High-level understanding of M&G Plc's strategy, key products, and distribution methods.
    • Knowledge of financial services reporting, regulatory, and legislative frameworks.
Estimated Salary Range: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum
