Job Title: Project Engineer - Asset Management

MacDermid Alpha Electronics Solutions is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Engineer to join our Engineering team. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for the identification and implementation of process improvements and capital investment to install or replace assets covering the UK Manufacturing sites.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive Continuous Improvement across all areas of the business, monitored against key manufacturing KPIs such as yield loss, scrap, and customer complaints.
  • Reduce manufacturing equipment downtime by root cause analysis and driving the implementation of corrective and preventative actions.
  • Develop detailed project plans and schedules to effectively execute capital investment on time, within budget while maintaining a high level of coordination and communication with stakeholders.
  • Manage and implement key projects associated with Health & Safety, Environmental and Process Improvement.
  • Support commissioning of new equipment within the manufacturing environment ensuring compliance with Health & Safety standards, implementation of Work Instructions and Standard Operating Instructions along with necessary training requirements.
Requirements:
  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering.
  • Competent user of AutoCAD to view and edit site drawings.
  • Competent user of MS Office applications.
  • Experience in 3D design software (Autodesk Inventor) is desirable.
