Senior Care Assistant Role

Oak Springs Care Home is seeking a skilled Senior Care Assistant to join our team. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to our residents, supporting their daily needs, and promoting their overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting residents with personal care and hygiene, eating, and daily activities
  • Providing emotional support and companionship to residents
  • Maintaining high standards within the care home environment
  • Senior-level duties to support the Home Manager, including staff supervision, appraisals, record-keeping, medication administration, care planning, audits, and liaising with outside professionals

Requirements:

  • Supervisory/leadership experience in a residential or nursing home setting
  • A positive outlook and warm personality
  • Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care or willing to work towards
  • Confident in record-keeping and the use of various technologies
  • Able to remain calm and guide colleagues under pressure
  • Flexibility to work shift patterns according to the needs of our residents
