Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Nurse to join our team at Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust. As a Senior Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality primary care services and specialist interventions for offenders at HMP Erlestoke.

Job Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality clinical care within the Integrated Healthcare Service for the prison.
  • Provide acute and primary care, long-term conditions management, enhanced assessment and diagnostic intervention services, and health promotion activities.
  • Demonstrate robust expert clinical skills with a sound understanding of evidence-based nursing practice.
  • Support the development of evidence-based practice in the specialist field and promote research as appropriate.
  • Participate in managerial and professional clinical supervision program.
Requirements
  • Postgraduate qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of two years' experience at Band 5.
  • Working knowledge of current issues/agendas facing prison/offender healthcare.
  • Experience of multi-professional collaboration including working in partnership with other statutory and voluntary organisations.
  • Experience of setting, monitoring and evaluating standards of care.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is £38,890 - £44,503 per annum. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits including pension scheme, annual leave, and training opportunities.
