About the Role:

Creative Support is seeking an experienced and compassionate Senior Support Worker to lead our team in providing person-centered support to adults with learning disabilities, some of whom have autism spectrum conditions and complex needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide respectful personal care, emotional, and practical support to service users
  • Collaborate with service users, families, and the multi-disciplinary team to maximize service user outcomes
  • Implement Creative Support principles, policies, procedures, and guidelines, ensuring the service meets CQC requirements
  • Supervise and support staff to best meet service user needs and preferences
  • Support service users to have the opportunity for a full and happy life, and to be safe and well

Requirements:

  • Experience of supporting individuals with learning disabilities is essential for this role
  • A clean, valid driving license and access to a car are desirable but not essential
  • Ability to work flexibly to meet the needs of the service, including evenings and weekends
