Deputy Director of Care Opportunity

Spire Hartswood Hospital is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Director of Care to join our team on a full-time permanent basis.

We are a 49-bed hospital with 4 theatres, offering a comprehensive range of services and facilities. Our vision is to be recognised as a world-class healthcare business, delivering excellent clinical environments and the highest quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with the Director of Clinical Services to ensure clinical teams deliver effective patient care through excellent clinical and managerial leadership.
  • Provide exemplary planned care for patients while managing multiple clinical teams.
  • Ensure compliance with all hospital regulatory requirements.
  • Deputise for the Director of Clinical Services during their absence.
Requirements:
  • Registered Nurse
  • Clinical or management degree
  • Evidence of substantial post-registration continual professional development in management and clinically related subjects
  • Evidence of proven leadership and management within a clinical environment
  • Strategic planning and development
  • Previous experience of managing multidisciplinary teams
  • Knowledge of effective resource management tools
  • Passion for delivering exceptional patient care
  • Strong communication and influencing skills
