Deputy Director of Clinical Services

Spire Hartswood Hospital is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Director of Clinical Services to join our team on a full-time permanent basis.
We are a 49-bed hospital with 4 theatres, offering a comprehensive range of services and facilities. Our vision is to be recognised as a world-class healthcare business, bringing together the best people who are dedicated to developing excellent clinical environments and delivering the highest quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:- Work closely with the Director of Clinical Services to ensure clinical teams deliver effective patient care by providing excellent clinical and managerial leadership.
- Provide exemplary planned care for patients while managing more than one clinical team.
- Take an active role in ensuring compliance with all hospital regulatory requirements.
- Deputise for the Director of Clinical Services during their absence.
- Registered Nurse
- Clinical or management degree
- Evidence of substantial post-registration continual professional development in management and other clinically related and relevant subjects
- Evidence of proven leadership and management within a clinical environment
- Strategic planning and development
- Previous experience of managing multidisciplinary teams
- Knowledge of effective resource management tools, e.g. finance - cost control; people - job design, restructuring, scheduling hours
